I can't remember the last time I was calm.

Confession of Kalina, 41, about the anxiety she learned to hide - and the day she finally stopped hiding it.

If your head is never quiet - this text is for you
Confession of Kalina, 41, about the anxiety she learned to hide and the day she finally stopped hiding it.

6:42 AM. The alarm won't ring for another eighteen minutes. But I'm already awake and haven't rested.
Before I open my eyes, my body already knows: jaw clenched, shoulders braced against ears, breathing shallow. Here and there, and that feeling under the ribs, like there's something alive under the skin, waiting for an occasion to pop out.
It's a pose I didn't choose. This is a pose I have slept in.
If you're reading this and right now you're raising your hand to your jaw to check - don't. I know. It's clenched.

My name is Kalina. I am 41 years old, I have been working in marketing for 17 years, I am married to a good man, I have a daughter of 8 and a dog of 4. I have a mortgage, girlfriends and a yoga subscription that I haven't used in a long time.

On a piece of paper, I'm fine. In my head - nothing like that.
This story is not just mine. I suspect you're living it right now, too. That's why I'm telling it.
What is „anxiety“, truth be told
Anxiety is not drama. That's the first thing you need to know.
It is not crying. It is not hysterics. It's not a movie. It's the quiet thing that lives with you while you cook dinner, while you sign a contract, while you laugh at a coworker's anecdote.

It is:
To open your eyes and even before you have thought of anything specific - to already be anxious.
Keeping an eye on your daughter's phone when she's at school, and firing off one catastrophe a minute into your head.
To answer „fine“ to the question „how are you?“ - and to hear your voice sounding normal while something inside you is squeezing harder.
To rehearse conversations that will never happen.
To solve problems that will never arise.
To be exhausted at 3 in the afternoon - not because you did something hard, but because there is some war going on inside you since 7 in the morning.
To feel your heart and wonder if it is beating normally. To listen to your stomach, your skin, your breathing - to live in your own body as in someone else's house, where something could break at any moment.
Forgetting the last time you were calm. Not happy - calm. Just existing, without that quiet string vibrating beneath the surface.
If any of these sound familiar - you're not unhealthy. You are not weak. You're not exaggerating. You're just one of many, many of us.

„You have everything, why are you like this?“
This is the question that people who love me ask me. This is the question I ask myself.
I have everything. A healthy family. A job that pays. Girlfriends who pick up if I call. A roof, a car, a vacation once a year.
And yet there is no peace inside me. And that's the loneliest thing - because you can't explain it to people. When your foot hurts, everybody understands. When it hurts forever, for no reason, because you're just like that - no one understands.
I got to the point where I started avoiding girlfriends. Not because I didn't love them - but because I didn't have the energy to maintain the version of myself that seemed okay. Because being with someone who expects you to be fun when you're exhausted from existing is too much work.
This is the face of anxiety that no one shows. No shaking hands. A slow narrowing of the world, until one day you realize you live in a box of 50 squares and a phone, and that Sunday is scarier than Monday.

What I had already tried
Before I got to Bulcanna, I had tried everything one could think of.
Antidepressants. They helped. They made me flat. I wasn't anxious, but neither was I.
Brief therapy. Helpful but expensive, and at the end of the session anxiety was waiting for me at the door.
Magnesium, valerian, lemon balm, melatonin. Slight effect, if any. Exercise - I started with conviction and stopped after two weeks because I had no energy. Breathing techniques - worked at the time, but at 3am the brain doesn't remember that you know to breathe.
Tried everything when you're a woman in her 40s who doesn't want to live like that anymore, but doesn't know what else to do.

How I got to Bulcanna

My sister Bistra is a yoga instructor. She's not like me - she's calm, fertile ground, I'm concrete. She's always been the other.
One Saturday at the end of February he said to me: „Kalia, I'm not a doctor and I'm not going to give you health advice. But there is a Bulgarian product that helped two of my clients with anxiety disorder. If you want - try it.“
It was Organic Drops from Bulcanna. Organic hemp oil, broad spectrum, without psychoactive effect, produced in Bulgaria, tested for purity - no heavy metals, no pesticides.
I was skeptical. But Bistra hadn't recommended me never nothing like that. And he was looking at me with eyes that had no sale in them, but had: „My sister is exhausted. Try.“
I ordered the 10% version. I decided to give it eight weeks. No expectations. No promises to myself.

What happened
The first ten days I felt almost nothing. Maybe a slight drop of that constant background hum, but so minor I wasn't sure if I was imagining it.
Then, at the end of the second week, something strange happened: I was in a meeting, someone said something unpleasant, and I... didn't react. I didn't get catastrophes in my head. I didn't start rehearsing responses. I just heard the words, considered them, responded calmly, and we moved on.
When I left that meeting, I realized: my jaw is not clenched.
It's a moment I won't forget - remembering that you have a jaw and that it can be Retrieved from.
In the third week I started sleeping deeper. Not longer, deeper. I woke up surprised that I had slept, not desperate that I would have to again soon.
In the fourth week my husband said: „You didn't close the bathroom door three times today.“ (I have a habit I don't notice - I double check things out of nerves.) I had done it without thinking.
In the sixth week, I said yes to an invitation to dinner with girlfriends. And I went without rehearsing how I was going to behave.
In the eighth week, my daughter came into the kitchen and said: „Mommy, why are you so calm lately?“
I didn't know what to answer. Because I hadn't done anything different - except I had stopped living in survival mode.

What it is now, three months later
I am not another person. The anxiety hasn't gone away, it still has a voice, it still haunts me sometimes, especially in the crappy weeks before important presentations or when my daughter is sick.
But no longer live in it. Now experience it and she leaves and I stay.
That's the difference I couldn't imagine before. It's not eliminating anxiety. It's not „I've become a happy person.“ It's a change in Relations with her from being her to being someone who has her but isn't her.
The therapy started to work better. Now in sessions I have energy to think, not just survive. I started going for walks in the morning. I signed up for yoga again. I started remembering that I have girlfriends and that they are nice to be with.
Small things. But small things are life.

Tell you what, if you live it too
I'm not a doctor. I am not a psychotherapist. I'm not paid to write this text - Bulcanna asked me to tell it because they say many women and men ask them: „does it really work for anxiety?“
Here's my honest answer:
Organic Drops are not magic. They don't cure the cause of your anxiety. They don't replace therapy, they don't replace a doctor, they don't replace life changes you might need to make.
But give your nervous system a chance to rest. And when the nervous system rests - everything else gradually finds its place. Therapy starts to work better. Sport becomes possible. Conversations with loved ones cease to be a test. You begin to remember who you are when you're not in survival mode.
This is what happened to me. This is what I wish for you.

Organic Drops from Bulcanna are Bulgarian production, bio certified, pure broad spectrum hemp extract. Without prescription. No dependency. No hangover the next day.
Start with 2-3 drops in the morning and evening, under the tongue. Hold for 60 seconds - there is the network of blood vessels that makes absorption fastest and most effective. Then swallow.
For anxiety, it is recommended to take it both in the morning and in the evening - to evenly maintain levels in the body. Not only in the evening, not only in moments of crisis. The body does not need a fireman. It needs a neighbor who regularly checks to make sure all is well.
Give your body 6 weeks. I gave 8 - and for the first time in years I discovered what silence in the head is.
👉 Order Organic Drops here - and let your head be quiet at last.

Dietary supplement. It does not replace therapy, medication or consultation with a doctor. If diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and/or taking psychotropic medication, consult a specialist before use. Not intended for persons under 18 years of age, pregnant or nursing.
