What is Age Defying Serum and what is it for?
Age Defying Serum is a concentrated anti-ageing serum formulated for skin showing the first signs of ageing. It contains 8 plant oils with a high concentration of antioxidants.
Designed for people who have noticed the first signs of aging - fine lines, loss of elasticity, dull or uneven complexion. Works synergistically with Age Defying Face Cream - the serum prepares and activates, the cream seals and maintains the effect.
Serum is step two in the Ceremone routine: after cleansing with Triple Action Foam and before applying cream.
What are the key ingredients in the serum?
The formula is built around four key active ingredients. Cranberry — exceptionally rich in omega 3, 6 and 9 and vitamin E, with powerful antioxidant properties, it nourishes and protects the skin barrier. Seed oil — omega 3 and 6 with a moisture-retaining effect, it softens the skin deeply and contributes to a smooth, hydrated complexion.
Green coffee oil — natural caffeine, it moisturises and nourishes the skin, reduces the visible fine lines and wrinkles, and has high antioxidant activity. Mastic oil — supports skin density and the smoothing of the facial contours.
What is the effect of mastic oil?
Mastic oil (Pistacia Lentiscus) is one of the most valuable ingredients in the serum — and rarely found in natural cosmetics. It supports skin density and the smoothing of the facial contours.
Combined with seed oil, mastic oil enhances the regenerating and anti-ageing effect of the serum – the two ingredients work synergistically to stimulate collagen production and renew skin cells. This combination is the foundation of Ceremone's anti-ageing strategy.
How to apply the serum correctly?
Clean the skin thoroughly with Triple Action Cleansing Foam. Apply 2-3 drops of the serum on the face. With gentle movements or light tapping, massage and rub until completely absorbed by the skin.
Do not rinse off. Once fully absorbed, apply Age Defying Face Cream. For the best effect, use morning and evening. Evening application is especially suitable.
Is the serum suitable for sensitive skin?
The serum is formulated with an oil base (no water), making it more tolerable for sensitive skin compared to water-based serums containing preservatives and stabilizers. Contains no parabens, artificial fragrances or harsh synthetic ingredients.
For very sensitive or reactive skin, we recommend a patch test - apply a small amount to the inside of the wrist and wait 24 hours. For active skin conditions under treatment consult a dermatologist.
How quickly are results seen from the serum?
With regular morning and evening use, improved hydration and radiance are noticeable within 1-2 weeks. Visible smoothing of fine lines and improved skin texture are usually seen after 4-6 weeks.
The deeper effects - plumping, even complexion, wrinkle reduction - require 8-12 weeks of consistent use. The anti-aging action is cumulative: the longer and more regularly it is used, the more visible the result.
Can the serum be used alone - without cream?
Yes, it can – especially for oily or combination skin. The serum is concentrated and also hydrates on its own.
For dry or mature skin, however, we recommend a combination: the serum activates and penetrates deeply, the cream seals in moisture and creates a protective layer. The two products are specially designed to work together for maximum anti-aging effect.
