What is Ceremoné Age-Defying SPF 50+ Face Cream?

Ceremoné Age-Defying SPF 50+ Face Cream is a daily facial sunscreen from BulCanna, with very high protection against UVA and UVB rays, in an airless pump bottle made of 50 ml, manufactured in Bulgaria.

The cream is the third and final step in the Ceremoné morning skincare routine. It is designed to be used every morning, all year round, rather than as a product that is taken out of the drawer in June and put away again in September.

SUN PROTECTION IS NOT A SEASONAL PRODUCT

UVB radiation, which causes the burning sensation, weakens considerably in winter. UVA radiation does not follow the same curve. UVA is present all year round; it passes through cloud cover and through window and car glass, and is the part of the spectrum associated with the visible signs of premature ageing on the skin.

Exposure to the sun doesn’t stop in November. It simply becomes imperceptible. Half an hour at a desk by the window, a walk on a misty afternoon, twenty minutes in the car waiting at traffic lights: none of this feels like sunshine.

Winter also brings a second factor into play. Snow reflects a significant proportion of the incoming ultraviolet radiation, and the intensity increases with altitude. A day’s skiing involves the same level of exposure that most people would expect in August, and on skin that has not been protected in any way.

Spring and autumn are the places where the habit most often breaks down. The temptation is real. The feeling of need is not.

ULTRA-LIGHT TEXTURE, IDEAL FOR APPLICATION BEFORE MAKE-UP. 

The formula works with four organic UV filters and contains no mineral filters. This is the technical reason why the cream does not leave a white residue and it doesn’t look grey on darker skin tones. Mineral filters reflect light off the skin’s surface, which is precisely why they’re visible. There are none here.

A finishing system is fitted to the filter system: Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Silica and Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6. It provides a soft, diffused finish with minimal stickiness. Foundation and powder can be applied over it without caking or fading throughout the day.

The cream goes on transparently, It is absorbed in seconds and does not leave a greasy film. The airless pump dispenses the product without coming into contact with the air.

This matters more than it seems. A sun cream that’s unpleasant to apply won’t get applied. And a product that isn’t applied doesn’t protect.

TESTED

The protective properties of Ceremoné Age-Defying SPF 50+ Face Cream have been laboratory-tested for protection against UVB and UVA rays.

The classification of the product has been confirmed by a safety assessor as part of the safety report drawn up in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.

The product is notified on the European CPNP portal and is manufactured in accordance with the standard EU-GMP. Each consignment is accompanied by a certificate of analysis.

HOW TO USE THE SPF 50+ FACE CREAM FROM THE CEREMONÉ RANGE?

Suitable for daily use and for all skin types.

01 · Clean

Apply Triple Action Cleaning facial foam to damp skin. Rinse off and pat dry gently.

02 · Serum

Apply the Age-Defying facial serum to cleansed skin. Wait until it has been fully absorbed.

03 · Cream

Age-Defying face cream, if your skin needs extra moisturising. If you have oily skin, you can skip this step in the morning.

04 · Sun protection

Ceremoné Age-Defying SPF 50+ face cream as the final step in your skincare routine, before applying make-up. Two full pumps for the face and neck.Wait for about a minute before applying make-up.

How much. Two full pumps, approximately half a teaspoon. A handy guide: the amount that covers your index and middle fingers along their entire length. The amount may seem large, but it is precisely at this quantity that the claimed factor is measurable.

Reapplication. Every two hours during direct exposure to the sun, as well as after swimming, sweating or drying off with a towel. The product has not been tested for water resistance.

Safety instructions. Do not stay in the sun for too long, even when using a sunscreen product. Keep babies and young children out of direct sunlight. Excessive exposure to the sun is a serious health risk. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. For external use only. Discontinue use if irritation or redness occurs. Store at a temperature between 5 °C and 25 °C, away from direct sunlight.

KEY INGREDIENTS

FILTER SYSTEM · FOUR ORGANIC UV FILTERS

• Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate UVA filter, covering the long-wave part of the spectrum;
• Bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine a filter providing protection in both the UVA and UVB ranges, and which is photostable;
• Ethylhexyl Triazone High-absorption UVB filter;
• Ethylhexyl salicylate UVB filter, which helps the other filters to dissolve;
• without mineral filters, which is why the formula does not have a white layer.

PLANT EXOSOME TECHNOLOGY (Vitis Vinifera Flower Cell Extract)

• grape flower cell extract obtained through plant cell culture;
• part of the active formulation, alongside the UV filters.

SODIUM HYALURONATE

• a moisturising ingredient that retains moisture in the outermost layer of the skin;
• gives a feeling of fullness and softness without feeling heavy.

BISABOLOL (Bisabolol)

• an ingredient extracted from chamomile;
• reduces the appearance of redness;
• helps to create a more even tan.

PHYTOSPHINGOSINE

• a lipid that occurs naturally in the outermost layer of the skin;
• maintains a feeling of comfort and smoothness.

TOCOPHEROL (Tocopherol)

• vitamin E;
• an antioxidant that helps maintain the stability of the formula;

SUNFLOWER OIL (Helianthus annuus seed oil)

• a light emollient oil with a high linoleic acid content;
• leaves hair feeling soft without leaving a greasy film.

SOFT-FINISH SYSTEM (Silica, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer)
